Regarding the Maintenance and Repair of Beiyuan Shearing Handpiece
BEIYUAN shearing handpiece are precision mechanical tools. Disassembly of the transmission parts is generally not permitted. For parts requiring routine maintenance, disassembly and assembly must be strictly performed according to the instruction manual. Because the shearing head design incorporates multiple points of direct contact with spherical friction, regular maintenance and proper lubrication can significantly extend its lifespan.
Today we’ll answer a frequently asked question: Why does my shearing handpiece overheat so seriously?
Some customers experience overheating of the shearing handpiece handle during shearing wool. Today, we’ll analyze the causes of this overheating phenomenon.
Generally, there are six signs of overheating:
1.Overheating of the shearing handpiece head :
First, we need to accurately locate the overheating point. Stop the handpiece from operation, allow it to cool down, and then restart the machine to locate the overheating component.
2.Front Overheating:
We need to check if the front of the sheep clipper head is blocked by sand or foreign objects, or if it is jamming the clipper head. We can run the clipper head while blocking the oil injection hole with our thumb, then inject lubricating oil into the clipper head body from the front. Finally, reverse the clipper head to pour out the lubricating oil, which serves as a cleaning agent.
Additionally: We also need to check if the blades are sharp and if the pressure cap adjustment part is over-pressurized. Please check and resharpen the blades and reduce the pressure.
3. Thumb or Forefinger Area Overheating:
Please check if there are foreign objects between the rotary pin and the rotary pin seat, and whether they are severely or excessively worn. If so, you can lift the swing arm, flush away the foreign objects with lubricating oil, or replace the parts.
4. Pressure Cap Overheating:
Please check if there are foreign objects between the pressure rod and the pressure cylinder, and whether the pressure rod and pressure cylinder are excessively worn. Similarly, remove the foreign objects, reapply lubricating grease, or replace the parts.
5. Overheating of the middle or ring finger area:
Check if the roller’s flat surface is incorrectly installed (the flat surface should face the eccentric shaft).
Wool or other debris entangled around the roller should be removed.
The front bearing is overheating, possibly due to excessive pressure or a dull blade. Reduce pressure or resharpen the blade.
A large bearing clearance can be observed by shaking the eccentric shaft; the bearing needs to be replaced.
6. Overheating of the rear of the clipper head:
The joint gear lacks lubrication; regular lubrication is required.
The joint gear is excessively worn; both gears need to be replaced.
Misalignment between the inner and outer joint covers causes abnormal rotation of the joint gear; replace both ear caps and clips.
The rear bearing is overheating, possibly due to excessive pressure or a dull blade. Reduce pressure or resharpen the blade.
Replace the bearing. Also, the outer joint cover lacks lubrication; regular lubrication is required.
